Katrin, Licensed Massage Therapist
Katrin (pronounced like “Kathrin” without the “h”) is is a licensed massage therapist and graduate of the esteemed local Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy. An East Coast transplant, she has called Boulder home for several years, where she enjoys an active lifestyle with her dog, Kooper.
A lifelong athlete and former collegiate wrestler, Katrin continues to train for personal enjoyment through trail running, climbing, and yoga. This background allows her to connect deeply with Boulder’s active community and gives her a strong understanding of the physical demands of training, common injuries, and the importance of prioritizing recovery and self-care.
Katrin approaches both her practice and teaching through the lens of her diverse life experiences, meeting each person with openness, curiosity, and genuine care. She strives to create an environment where clients and students alike feel supported, respected, and empowered in their learning and healing process. Her massage style draws influence from a variety of disciplines, including Thai and sports massage, creating sessions that are both therapeutic and relaxing. Katrin specializes in integrative massage with a focus on deep tissue techniques, tailoring each session to be both therapeutic and relaxing—supporting recovery, relieving stress, and allowing the body shift into a parasympathetic, rest-and-recover state.
